Just days after laughing off newspaper reports that she was to be married, Amy Winehouse done exactly that!! Amy Winehouse wed her fiancé Blake Fielder-Civil in a secret Miami Beach, Florida ceremony. The couple have been engaged for less than a month after Amy took less than a day to consider the marriage proposal.

The singer, 23, kept the wedding a secret from even those closest to her, including her parents.

The couple met in 2005, but split in 2006 after Blake cheated on her!!

This has upset the mother of Amy Winehouse who has said, “That's Amy's style. It's happened, it's done, I wasn't there, finished. Of course I would've wanted to go. I don't know anything about the wedding – just what I read in the newspapers”

Amy's mother Janis hasn't even met her daughter's new husband !!

Adding, “'I can't judge whether he's a nice guy or not, I'd like to meet Blake properly.”

A spokesperson for Amy Winehouse said, “Amy Winehouse did get married to fiancé Blake Fielder-Civil this morning in a very private, intimate ceremony. They are very happy."

Blake Fielder-Civil is an assistant for a music video firm.

The, “Quickie” wedding ceremony took place in the Miami-Dade County Marriage License Bureau in Florida on 18 May, without any guests.

Blake is facing a GBH trial this summer over an incident in an east London pub last year where the landlord was mercilessly beaten.
