Watch Americas Top Waddle Tyra Banks – CNN Report – Tyra Banks Fat Rant – MTV Deathmatch

I think that a lot of people are missing the point with Tyra Banks and the whole, “Pork Chop” debate.

Hundreds of column inches have been dedicating to first ridiculing Tyra Banks, and many hundreds more making a martyr of her, with most of the latter saying that she looked healthy and fit and just like a, “Normal Person”.

Yet if you watch Tyra Banks discuss the matter on her TV show she implies that the photo was unfavourably re-touched or airbrushed purely for the persecution and humiliation of the former super-model.

Now this may sound like convenient paranoia until you actually watch her explanation of the photo-shoot she was on and see some of the UNTOUCHED photos which were taken on the same day.

Tyra Banks doesn't come out and say that the picture has been edited but instead leaves it for the viewer to make up their own mind about it, after first leaving the answer in no doubt of course.

Yet every news report and every write up I have seen gloss over this fact and instead focuses on the actual size of Tyra Banks, which wasn't really the issue, this is confirmed right from the offset when she reminds the audience, “NOT to believe everything that you read in the newspapers and on celebrity gossip websites”.

In my humble opinion I feel it's a case of, “The lady doth protest too much”. For surely these photos would just be a hazy memory if Tyra hadn't played right into their hands by heaping on the publicity.

Any sympathy I had for her quickly dissolved as the self-righteous indignation that anyone would dare to call her, “Fat” is screwed right through her thinly veiled rant.

And she also claims to have high self-esteem, it's apparently that high that she just couldn't let this incident slide, instead she dedicates a valuable 10 minutes of her television chat show rubbishing the accusations and it would also appear that Tyra is seeking some sort of validation from her audience, which typically are all fans of hers in the first place!!

This is provided by a few tears shed through pity and a standing ovation from her fans, it's practically obscene that she can compare (and blame) the tabloids adding a few extra pounds to her picture to different scenarios such as starving herself, women who are picked on, women who suffer mental abuse at the hands of their husbands etc. Which she explains through welling tears of self-pity…………….
