Mika played Live on Jo Whiley's Live Lounge on January 31st (2007). Winding up a great first month of 2007 for the host Jo Whiley. (Who Scott Mills affectionately refers to as, “The Mad Moose”).
With Amy Winehouse, The View & now Mika all featuring in January alone!!
Mika played his current single, “Grace Kelly” which was a fine solo effort with just Mika and a piano. For the second song, and the now much anticipated (and obligatory) cover version, rather surprisingly -I thought- Mika opted for, “Same Jeans” by “The View”. And Mika also wrangles in a couple of lyrics from, “Brimful Of Asha” by “Cornershop” And “Walking In Memphis” by “Marc Cohn”

I have recently become a great fan of Mika probably the first solo artist to get my attention to such an extent.
Hes got such a great voice and vocal range!!
