Since Run DMC first donned their -lace-less & tongue hanging out, as featured on their collaboration with Aerosmith, Walk This Way- trainers and even released a tune called, “My Adidas,” the hip-hop world has been fascinated with the trainer!!

The Pack, who are from Berkeley, California are all under 20 years of age and have went against the grain somewhat by releasing a song called, “Vans,” in tribute to the lace-less slip-ons favoured by skateboarders.

With a chorus of, “I got my Vans on but they look like sneakers,” this track is sure to be a big hit, a sort of trip-hop if you will!! Who knows, The Pack may even be the ones to finally bridge the gap between skate rats and gangsta's!!

They recently had this to say, "Skateboarding and hip-hop, a lot of people didn't do it, but we do" -As does does Lupe Fiasco-. And 'Vans' answered so many questions and addressed these stereotypes," L said. "Instead of running from all that, we ran toward it and really embraced ourselves and being us. We've been wearing Vans since sixth grade."

"We got a few people down at Vans who really care about us," B laughed. "We get free shoes like crazy. They like what we're doing for Vans and they support us. And, I don't even know about this, but there might be a Pack shoe. Maybe? I hope."
