The Young Knives are signed to Transgressive Records, and their PR is handled by Scruffy Bird Management. They have made a few small-scale releases, including the EP ...Are Dead, and highly sought after Junky Music Make My Heart Beat Faster.

The Band opened V Festival 2005 in Chelmsford after winning a vote competition.

2005. Their follow up is Here Comes The Rumour Mill, out on February 27th 2006. They are embarking on a gargantuan UK tour in February 2006. Their as yet untitled debut album, produced by Andy Gill is due for release in roughly August 2006.
