This follows on nicely from the previous post. As Keith Allen (Kieth Allen) (Fat Les) is the father of Lily Allen (born May 2, 1985) is a pop artist from the United Kingdom signed to Regal/Parlophone (EMI).

The increasing publicity surrounding Allen caused Regal Records to bring forward the release date for the album, which means that the sample in “Nan, You're A Window Shopper”, a track using the same sample as 50 Cent's “Window Shopper”, will not be included.

In May 2006, she graced the cover of “Observer Music Monthly,” and constantly updates fans with the latest news in her MySpace blogs. The first official single to be released from the album is entitled “Smile”, which has been playlisted by many radio stations, including BBC Radio One.

Personally I prefer a different tune as this is when she is at her best, observing and commenting on the darker sides of life!! (Well, this and her personal take on relationships which is evident in the upcoming release, “Smile”)

Also –again this is only a personal view- the gritty harshness and realism of the lyrics can be likened to The Streets –this is an obvious comparison- and surprisingly the Arctic Monkeys, who also tend to see life from a slightly different, darker angle.
